Heavy hex bolts have a larger head than a standard hex bolt. They are used for bridges, highways, buildings, and other construction projects. Heavy hex bolts work well with construction materials such as wood and steel. We also offer custom heavy hex bolts and structural bolts, which differ from heavy hex bolts because they have shorter threads.

KD Fasteners, Inc.® carries a variety of heavy hex bolts in different materials and plating options. Our heavy bolt line starts at a 1/2” and goes up to 1-1/2” diameter for our off-the-shelf items. We can do specials up to 3-1/2” diameter. Our lines include both imports and domestic.
